In less than one week, we will be leaving for our longest trip ever. The longest trip in terms of time and distance, with the RV and without.

The destination is Texas for the 2024 total solar eclipse. We saw a total eclipse in August of 2017 in South Carolina and an annular eclipse in October of 2023 in West Virginia.

We will visit nine different states. Of those, I have never been to eight of them. Jesse has never been to seven of them.

My goal is one post per campground, but I’ll see how things go once we’re out on the road. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to keep up if I keep the posts shorter. In any case, for the next few weeks, the frequency of posts may be a bit different. We’ll have more Instagram posts than usual in the next few weeks, so be sure to watch for those.

Is anyone else going to watch the eclipse? Are you watching from home or traveling somewhere for a better view?

Happy travels!
